As we ride through Ward, Colorado you get the sense that time has stood still. One " street sign" is of the peace symbol. There is a VW bus with painted windows and a few people sitting on porches. You ride through it as soon as you enter it. Then you see a side road that takes you to Raymond, Colorado. The sign there actually says: Everybody Loves Raymond. The general store is more like an old time trading post that has a bit of this and that. Wyatt and Billy either rode through here or should have. We headed to Lyon to a micro brewery for a Mama's Little Yellow Pils. Nothing complicated about the day. Motorcycles, an open road, a good friend, a briskness in the air, no TV, radios, news of the day or anything to separate you from you and your moment in time. No duality. You are. As the clouds started to form we rode back to Boulder. The hail storm hit just as we entered the house to report on the day's journey. Timing is everything. Time is everything.
