What is beautiful to you? What gets your imagination flowing? What brings a smile to your face…even at a rough spot in the day? What puts the light in your eyes? What inspires you? I would love to know what does those for you.
For me it is the honest connection between us all. The true north moments of candor and honesty. The singular effort to just help someone out. The trying to find the humor in it all. Yesterday was a big day. It was a day of conclusions and beginnings. It was a day of stepping into the unknown. It is so interesting. In the end of this crazy journey we all enter the unknown. We plan, we try to control events but , after all is done and said, we enter the ultimate unknown. What exactly is on the other side of life. We only find out when we open that door and not before. We can guess. We can pray. We can dream. But only at the moment of the moment do we…maybe understand. But until that moment, we have mini unknowns. We decided to embrace the unknown. I seem to be drawn to it.
Life is supposed to be about uncovering new things, exploring new lands, ideas and visions. Yet we cling to what is…even when the what is is no longer satisfying or you sense that there is more. The unknown draws me into to it. Our destiny awaits us in the unknown. But we must take the leap of faith. I think about the early explorers venturing out believing the world was flat yet risking it all to see for themselves. We are now explorers in our own lives.
