His eyes looked so sad. Really sad. He stood at the side of the road. The traffic was rushing by. I caught a shot of him but was in the farthest lane at the busiest time. No way to stop without serious damage and danger.
He stood there. Staring. Very hestitant. You could tell he could sense the danger but stood there.
Not going left or right, forward or back. Just a living statue.
I don't know what happened next.
Did he try to get across or turn back. Did his friend come to bring him home.
Hard to say. Who knows.
Don't we all find ourselves there at one time or another. Cross. Don't cross. Risk. Don't risk. Turn back. Move forward.
Trust the fates. Rely on poor luck.
So much at stake . Such a quick decision required.
And then it is done…one way or the other and the next lane appears.
Life happens in the split seconds. All the good and not so good all happen in that moment in time. Everything else just builds up to it. And then life happens.
The void is entered and growth happens in the void.
I hope it turned out well for him.
