It’s all good. That was the comment and the commitment. It was said almost matter of factly. It’s all good. It was said at a moment in time when anyone else would have said anything but that.
It was a challenging moment. It was a time when it would be easy to turn away and throw up your hands. Most others would do exactly that. But then the smile spread across his face and his eyes lit up. He looked around, saw the concerns and calmly, quietly said….it’s all good.
How did he do that. I realized that he put it all into context. He rejected the small stuff. He realized that there is a bigger story to be told. He rejected the irrelevant distraction. He saw the humor in it all. It is all one big circus anyway. Never forget it is all just one more act playing on center stage in the big top.
So as everyone turned dark and gray, he lightened and brightened up and it became contagious. They all laughed and said …it’s all good. Being alive. Being here right now. Being in the mix of the day is what it is all about. So enjoy the challenge. Welcome it and smile. It’s all good.
