The house was nestled at the edge of a canyon. The red jeep, no top, no doors, was parked out front.
The air was crisp and the day was new.
Boulder on a September morning.
She decided to get lost on the mountain roads somewhere between Ward, Niwot and Estes Park.
A new day indeed.
Life had led her here.
No planning could have. No set agenda could have.
The beauty of life is that it can still surprise you if you just let go of being so sure about it all.
You see some people holding on for dear life to a twig with no roots on the mountain ledge because they are fearful of the fall.
They don't realize that the holding on is the danger zone. Letting go permits you to release into the faith that a new day awaits you.
She could never have planned it.
The jeep made its way along the ridge.
What a day it was going to be…full of surprises.
Timeless and ageless.
