The test on the edge

The Triumph turned up the mountain road. I kept an easy speed as the bike glided through the back roads on this mountain day. Everything counts at moments like this. Two wheels, speed, twists and turns, gravel here and there and signs that show switchbacks that challenge the rider.
You wouldn’t have it any other way. Risk has to part of the day. But the risk should be as much in your hands as possible. It is the test of racing the edges of life. The Razor’s Edge of life. You find your identity at those moments.
Your identity. Your essence. Your core. Only by running the edge will you ever truly know.
So decide. Safe and still undefined by the test or the edge and defining who you can still be.
