A state of grace

There was a time when being gracious was a given. For some reason being gracious seems to have fallen on hard times. Winning with grace or losing graciously seems to be a lost art form. Maybe it has to do with having a moral compass. Maybe it has to do with having a noble sense of our place here. Hard to tell. Maybe it is the 24/7 news/ media cycle that has tainted us. The need to be heard over the noise. Once again, hard to tell. But consider this…grace. It lets us relax into the knowing that there is a larger story playing out and living in a state of grace permits us to be part of that larger story.
