It all goes by so fast. The kids are all grown up. The grandkids are growing up and soon will be beginning the next chapter of their lives.
When I look in the mirror I see me but I know I am older and hopefully wiser. But I also know that I am in a whole new chapter myself. One that is closer to the epilogue then the prologue.
So what to do. Appreciate each moment for its unique qualities. Don’t long for another time. Remember it. Reflect on it. But longing for it seems so wasteful of this unique moment.
Live your life fully tipping your hat to the past but being grateful for this time in and of itself.
