If you didn't take it for granted. If you truly realized that each day it is one day less that you could be with him or her would you treat them differently.
Would you let go of the petty stuff, recognize the beauty of imperfection and laugh through the stuff that others fret about.
If you then recognized that each day was one day less with you. One day less to honor yourself and the vessel you have been given, would you want to really care for yourself the way you care for a thing…like a car or a ..fill in the blank.
I saw it today. It was funny if not sad.
A very expensive car went by…I mean, really expensive. One of those over a hundred thousand dollar type cars-things. It then stopped at the curb as I went by. Out of the rear view mirror I saw him get out of the driver's side door.The car was clearly better cared for then he took care for himself. Go figure. I mean he just let it go as if it was too much a bother to protect his most valuable asset…his body.
So tomorrow treat yourself like the fine tuned machine you were intended to be.
Tune yourself up.Let your body know that it matters, you apologize to it and get it back to where it was meant to be. I am serious about this.
It is your project. Bring yourself in for service and keep yourself fine tuned.
