January 24:Don't permit yourself to be typecast.
You have a story to tell. You have a journey to take. Others will try to typecast you in the role. Oh, he or she is just like or acts just like or looks just like.
Typecasting is so limiting. It seems to me people do that so they can be comfortable in their own story but it is not your storyline.
You are not just…fill in the blank.
You have passed through the Gate of Definitions. Once through that Gate you are given the power to keep challenging yourself. You are not hardwired so that you are in your "golden years" so "act your age".and that is the story from now till the end credits. Those words are nothing more than a limiting role others want you to play. Reject the part. It is time to stretch your boundaries…at any age.
On your own terms live large,live with your own voice written by you. It is not trying to relive youth Rather it is simply living life in the present moment. Today when you take your morning walk or jog, pause for a moment and say this is the first and last day.But it is not a 24 hour day. It is merely your day and you are free to make it whatever you want to make it. Then don't be tied down to some other screenwriter. You,today, be the screenwriter for your life.
Live in the center of your life. Travel to the center of your life. In the world of the ageless the lights are on, the camera is rolling and "ACTION" is shouted out by you,,,the director of your story. It is an epic, an adventure, a comedy, some tragic moments…but what a heck of a story…and what a star in that role of a lifetime.
