I realized the other day that basically we are all on this road trip. A road trip through our life and the life of those who matter to us. Like all road trips there are smooth highways, rough backroads, detours, breakdowns, running out of gas moments, new sights, old friends, new friends to be, some danger moments, getting lost, finding our way again, stopping off to rest and explaining ourselves to others along the way.
Life is a road trip. It is always open for you if you have faith in your map and navigation skills. Age is irrelevant on a road trip. In fact it might help you along the way because some patches may look familiar.
So look up and out. Keep your eye on the horizon and enjoy the ride. Each road trip is a new opportunity to discover more of yourself.
