For some it seems it never happens. They never wake up. They are constantly going through the day asleep or in some odd alternate reality dream. For these there is only worry and fretting and wanting and desiring and a sadness that fills the moments. And each moment seems empty because … because what? They never wake up to the gift that is their life.. this exact moment.. this amazing chance to see, smell, touch, taste, and hear all that is happening around them all the time. The sun. The moon. The flowers. The air to breathe. The sky to look up at and ponder how high is up. The mystery. The magic. The loves. The friendships. Music. Art. Dance. All of this garden we are in. Instead they fret about all kinds of temporal things.
But if you were to wake up. Open your heart to what is before you.. the ultimate gift of this life, this moment.. what would happen. How would it all be different.
Wake up. Embrace life. One day as it winds down you will question why you ignored the beauty of what is all before you. So let go and look up and realize your life is a one and done. So get on with it. Wake up.
