The workout and ageless living

Once again the coaches showed and explained the work out of the day. Once again the “warm up” was what many other gyms would consider a full final workout. But it was merely the warm up.

As the sweat dripped down my forehead I looked at the board to study the workout routine.  It was going to be as many rounds as possible in a set time period. It was going to be 2 minute sets with a minute rest for 5 rounds.

The music began.  The gym came alive and the “dance” of workout training began. When it was done I lay on the floor spent but smiling.    There is something about being part of the effort, part of the promise you make to yourself to test yourself always,  part of life that shines a light on the meaning of the day and time.
