A bubble popped

Bubbles. They are everywhere. It seems like everyone travels in their own bubble. Some times groups travel in together bubbles. You might think that together bubbles are a good thing but it just appears to reinforce a bubble agenda. A  type of isolation.

Bubbles seem like it is a safe place but I just don’t think so. As protective as it may seem it isolates people from each other. It prevents us from better understanding the needs, fears, concerns and struggles of others. You see it in professions, corporate cultures, families and various clubs.    You must burst the bubble around you before  you can truly experience life with all that life has to offer you. It may be frightening at first but it is worth the risk.

Throughout the day you have the opportunity tto meet so many different people offering so many gifts for your taking. Yesterday alone there was the lawn maintenance workers, the electrician, the waitress, the movie ticket taker, the car attendant and others. Each contributing to your day. Yet,I also saw the bubble people. All inner focused, so self important that they missed life because they were so bubble wrapped.

So pop your bubble, reconnect with the day and experience the experiences of your fellow travelers.
