We all need a true north. A core belief that gets us through the dark moments. A moral compass when confronted with challenges of all shapes and sizes. I have come to believe it is a sense of personal meaning for how we spend our time here. It seems that contentment is a by product of this sense of moral direction. This day and age there is such noise. Such clammer. Such nonsense passing as something other than it truly is. … Nonsense. When I read or see things that are harsh and cruel I have to believe it is someone who is just lost and doesn’t even know it. There is a sadness about that since time is wasted. And time is all we have and it is so fleeting. So seek the compass and hold it tight and close.
