The flight yesterday from Miami to Denver was bumpy, rough, long, and intense at moments as the plane bounced around. Then as we circled over Kansas we were told about delays because of weather but we had enough fuel to make the touchdown.
It was dark, overcast and quiet on the flight. It is at moments like that that you reflect on the bigger journey. What is important. What has value. You don’t think about fancy restaurants, big cars or fancy clothes. You do think about people, relationships, friendships and time.
Time. How we use it. Who we spend it with. Money and power evaporates. Love and decency emerges. So I ask you a simple question….are you living a life you can tip your hat to as the plane of life bounces around?
Our personal plane is always bouncing around. Are you choosing wisely.
Just think about it.
