Don’t you miss it? Don’t you long for it? The uncluttered, unhurried, uncomplicated, un24/7 everything, unnews, unbusyness. Just the un of what passes as important today. Aren’t you tired of the nonsense and harshness of what has happened to the innocent time of simply appreciating your moment here.
I miss it. So I am on a quest to get back to that moment of innocence. Appreciation of a decency. A nobility. An honour. A calling to help. Look out and up. Put down the running for something you already forgot.
I still like to just meet up with friends to catch up and connect. Hold hands. Laugh about the absurdity of it all.
So reach out. The individual story still matters. I joined a writing class recently. It was joyful to meet new people and talk about writing essays and letters. Letters! Write one. Not type or email or text. But hand write an essay letter to a friend. Tell a story. Join the journey.
One Response to Recapture the innocence
