A closer and slower look

Mindfulness. Over time I have come to the better understanding that at least two particular things are needed to be mindful.

Slow your  pace down   Walk with purpose but at a pace to appreciate each step. Yes, each step   It permits you to reflect on the pace of your life   Appreciate each step

As you walk through your days, look closer at what is right there before you in the now. Not the past or the future but a closer look at your immediate now   Appreciate the moment. It is all you have

You can’t be mindful if you are living in any other time but the now time

So in order to be mindful you need to be present. That means live slower and closer to the moment.

When life wants you to speed up take a moment to look closer and slow your pace
