A march of decency

We are not promised anything. We are not guaranteed anything. We wake up and the opportunities , the challenges and the possibilities await us. We then choose. We then react. We then act. We then respond. But it comes down to our good intentions. So much of what we see and hear today is so ugly and sad. People treating people badly. Whether in Cleveland or Newtown or Boston or all the other places where bad people act badly. But then you see and hear good people responding and reacting and acting to right the wrong. Let’s band together to make a statement of good. Let’s find the commonality of the decent and highlight it.  Let’s stand up and refuse to accept the nonsense that passes for anything but nonsense. Aren’t you tired of bad behavior? Aren’t you weary of even watching or listening to bad behavior?

Then if so stand up. Life is too fragile to let the chance to right wrongs slip away. Today, begin. Do your part to help out. It is time to begin again. Let the good intention people join forces. That is what is needed now. Let the march for decency begin. It is ageless.
