In this journal which is addressing age are we blowing it. Are we still reacting as if we are living in an earlier time when 50 and up was considered differently then it should be today.
Businesses, government have retirement codes ,forced retirement or if not , consciously or subconsciously, categorize individuals based on certain preconceived notions that are no longer valid.
They trade arbitrary age for wisdom, insight and historic context.
Odd indeed. One does not exclude the other nor should one trump the other.
