Some call it the hour of the wolf. Others have different names for it but it all refers to the same moment…2 a.m. or 3 a.m. when your eyes open, your heart is racing and the problem of the day is magnified to an exaggerated size.
It is from that time till sunrise that the night feels like it may never end.
The hour of the wolf. The hour of unrest. Is it something you did and know you shouldn't have or something you should have done and didn't. No matter. The fact is there you are.
The question is how to avoid this moment all together. Or if it happens how to navigate your way through it.
Tangeboche led me to the truth of the power of silence.
In the quiet place peace is found. In the quiet world the essence of who we are and can be resides.
It is at the moment of decision that the wise step back, turn down the volume, reduce the chatter and let the silence lead them to their answer.
Contentment is found in this place. The Gate to Silence should be entered before such a decision is made. This is all part of the Ageless Experiment.
